A federal judge issued a nationwide junction blocking the DOL’s rule requiring overtime pay for classified exempt (professional or salaried) employees. The judge said the DOL exceeded its authority and ignored Congress’s intent by raising the salary test to such a level that it supplants the duties test. Yes! Exactly! Thank You Judge.
